In regards to the last comment.
Bvlgari- Jasmin Noir has vanilla and woods in the base and has the beautiful essence of the Jasmin flower in the top, which embodies the entirety of the fragrance. I understand the similiarity that may be seen with Christian Dior- Addict seeing as they have some of the same similiar notes in the base, although Addict has a much richer composition of floral and cirtus notes that compliment a stronger more viscious vanilla. Jasmin Noir is rich but also delicate, the vanilla is a soft compliment to the fragility of the Jasmin Flower, No other fragrance in my opinion stays true to the true essence of Jasmin, I frequently use Jasmin as an essential oil and the true depth and beauty of Jasmin is evident in this new fragrance from Bvlgari.
An absolute classic, this fragrance will live on forever .

Deja vu?
Although I like to wear this style of fragrance especially for going out at night or in winter, it strikes me as a knock off of Dior Addict (the original one in the dark blue bottle). I'm surprised the Michael Edwards advisor on the page did not spot this similarity.
Both fragrances have very good tenacity on the skin and are sweet orientals with a drydown that has prominent notes of vanilla and sandalwood. Those who like Samsara (Guerlain) might also like this for its deep lingering sandalwood notes and I'd also recommend this to anyone who likes Dune which is similar but 'fresher'.
