I received this perfume as a gift along with 3 other fragrances, so it went unnoticed for a while. When I finally got around to wearing it, I was quite pleasantly surprised. The first initial spray is a strong citrusy burst of pineapple and orange which smells a lot like tropical fruit juice, but in a nice way. The fragrance quickly mellows, and although you can still smell the citrus notes, there are more flowery notes like rose and lily of the valley. Wearing this fragrance is a lot of fun and makes you feel really girly and casual. However, be warned that this perfume is rather strong and that it has been known to give people headaches if used in large quantities. Certainly my favourite spring scent yet - however, it does go a bit funny after a while and settles to something you can barely even smell. still, it's worth a try. Tried it yesterday I wondered why I hadn't bought it sooner! Next time will get the larger bottle. It's a nice fresh, sweet girly fragrance. Sweet but not over the top sweet. As well as the beautiful smell, its comes in this cute little bottle. Pretty pink! It makes you feel girly and you know that you will be smelling beautiful all day/night long. Many guys love the smell of it, making you feel special like a princess!! I've even had a guy follow me through the shops to simply ask for the name of the scent! It's a fresh, romantic scent that will have heads turning as you walk past them. The experience of spraying this fragrance is divine, and certainly sweet, giving that fun flirtatious feel. I recommend it for those ultra-feminine moments, in which pink and lace make the outfit, and Babydoll is the finishing touch. I would recommend use with the Body Lotion, as the EDT alone tends to fade, though the combination is truly beautiful and sugary. I love Babydoll perfume because it always makes me feel fresh and revitalised, even cooling in the warm weather! The original- YSL Paris is an classic rose fragrance, Babydoll is a fruitier 'fresh' take on the fragrance, when I first bought it, a friend told me it reminded her of a frosty fruit. Thinking about it, it does kinda have that appeal, it conjures up summer memories of being young and carefree running along the beach, or through a park. this fragrance is YUM, and most of the guys seem to adore it. From the moment I spray it on my mood lifts and I can't shake the smile from my face. It makes me feel instantly pretty and all I want to do is have fun. The pineapple scent makes me imagine being on a tropical island, playing in the sun and laughing out loud. I love it!
